Maybe Not....

Lets see! This past week has gone by fast! Aghh..
So Wednesday at the Hospital, I got some OB hours which was so cool! It's funny, I always thought Labor and delivery was one of th top areas in Nursing I wanted to go into, but after dealing with it for only one day I think maybe not??? It is NOTHING like I thought It would be. I think after next trimester (which is maternity nursing), I will no more about if I want to do Labor and delivery or not. Anywho I followed the Mother (who was being induced) untill she had her baby. Let me tell you watching someone give birth is nothing like what you see on Tv and in the movies. I wont go into detail lol, It is beautiful tho, watching a new life being brought into the world! So then Thursday and Friday were the normal. Last day of clinicals in Susanville for awhile! Next week we start clinicl in Reno at the VA. I am really excited to start that! The weekend was fun! I actually went out and did something. Friday and Saturday a few girls and I went to a few bars and the casino, Now today I need to finish studying for our test tomorrow. Hope you all enjoyed your weekend.... xoxoxo Aly
